Child Therapy

Helping Little Ones Grow Big Feelings Safely

Childhood is a time of discovery — but it can also come with big emotions, worries, and challenges. Child therapy provides a safe, supportive space where children can express themselves, process difficult experiences, and learn healthy ways to cope.

Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, behavioral challenges, trauma, or changes at home or school, therapy can help them feel more confident, secure, and understood

How We Work Together

We offer in-person sessions at our therapy space, as well as online sessions for those who prefer the comfort and privacy of home. Both options are designed to provide the same safe, confidential, and supportive environment.

Our Approach

We know children don’t just “talk it out” the way adults do. That’s why we use child-friendly, evidence-based approaches such as:

  • Play Therapy techniques – allowing kids to express feelings through play, art, and creativity.

  • Person-Centered Therapy – meeting each child with empathy, acceptance, and respect.

  • Trauma-informed care & EMDR (child-adapted) – to gently help children process difficult or overwhelming experiences.

Every session is tailored to your child’s developmental needs, strengths, and personality.

What You Can Expect

  • A safe, fun, and nonjudgmental space for your child.

  • Parent involvement and regular check-ins to support your child’s progress.

  • Practical tools to help your child manage emotions, improve communication, and build resilience.

  • Flexible in-person and online options (for older children/teens where appropriate).
