Aging brings wisdom, memories, and new chapters — but it can also bring challenges such as grief, health changes, loneliness, or transitions in independence. Geriatric therapy provides a supportive space for older adults to process these experiences, strengthen resilience, and find renewed meaning and joy in life.
How We Work Together
We offer in-person sessions at our therapy space, as well as online sessions for those who prefer the comfort and privacy of home. Both options are designed to provide the same safe, confidential, and supportive environment.
Our Approach
We believe therapy at any age is about honoring a person’s story and supporting their emotional wellbeing. Sessions are tailored to each individual’s pace and needs, using gentle, evidence-based approaches such as:
Person-Centered Therapy – fostering empathy, dignity, and respect.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) – to nurture important relationships and emotional bonds.
Trauma-informed care – to process past or recent difficulties in a safe way.
Reminiscence and life review techniques – drawing strength and meaning from personal history and lived experiences
